Infant and Early Childhood Physical Therapy

I’m Dr. Jessica Smith, PT, DPT, and I’m passionate about helping you, as parents and caregivers, find joy in your child’s early developmental journey.

I’m so glad you’re here! As a specialist in infant and early childhood physical therapy, I’m committed to supporting your child through every step of their growth. My approach focuses on addressing muscle tension, asymmetries, and single-side preferences to promote balanced, healthy movement patterns. With experience in treating Torticollis and Plagiocephaly, I guide your child through the necessary steps to achieve key developmental milestones. By sequencing motor patterns and nurturing your child’s natural abilities, I help lay a strong foundation for their physical development and long-term well-being—while giving you peace of mind as you witness your child’s progress.

Life is full of twists and turns, challenges and joy. Navigating a child’s physical therapy journey is no different—but you don’t need to do it alone.

My goal is to provide expert advice on early development, stories from people on similar paths, and supportive encouragement for your child’s early development.

I believe toys and tools are great ways to support growth, and I want to help you choose the right ones. I suggest toys and equipment that have only been tested by me at home or while working with clients.
